MISTREE offers a highly efficient, low-power and low-volume water cooling solution designed specifically for large outdoor areas. By utilising fine atomised mist and the natural principles of evaporative cooling, it can significantly reduce ambient temperatures by up to 10 °C in optimum conditions while consuming only a fraction of the energy and water required by traditional cooling systems.

This makes MISTREE ideal for environmentally conscious urban developments, where sustainability and performance go hand in hand.

By harnessing the principles of evaporation – where heat is transferred from the air to water droplets – MISTREE offers a highly efficient method for lowering air temperatures, especially in regions with extreme heat, delivering a cooler more comfortable environment without wetting surfaces.

Water Droplet Dispersion

MISTREE releases an ultra-fine mist of water droplets through specialised nozzles, strategically placed to maximize coverage around the installation. In hot environments, these tiny droplets are quickly exposed to high ambient temperatures, setting the stage for rapid evaporation.

Heat Absorption

As the mist evaporates, it absorbs heat energy from the surrounding air. This natural exchange process lowers the immediate temperature around the MISTREE, creating a cool and refreshing microclimate that stands out against the scorching heat of the broader environment, without wetting the surrounding area.

Mist & Lighting Control And Integration

A single MISTREE consists of nine misting pods, each incorporating a high-output, individually addressable RGBW LED luminaire. DMX512 provides independent control of both mist emission patterns and lighting output, enabling fully programmable animation, dynamic colour mixing and ambient lighting scenes across multiple trees from a central control unit.

The control unit provides Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity for system configuration scheduling and integration with existing architectural lighting control infrastructures using DALI, Art-Net and SACN. The system architecture supports scalable deployments from single installations to large multi-tree lighting environments.

The system is engineered for reliable continuous operation in demanding outdoor environments. User operation and preset management are available via a mobile application and web-based interface.

Synchronisation

MISTREE features DMX512 and Art-Net control at its core, enabling real-time synchronisation with music playback systems. The system can respond subtly to sound with gentle pulsing light and mist effects, or shift into full performance mode where lighting and atmosphere become part of a live DJ set or immersive event environment.

Designed for both permanent and seasonal installations, MISTREE integrates easily into existing lighting and AV control systems, making it suitable for public spaces, events, festivals and architectural environments.
